The Senior Commercial Manager – Mai brand is a hands-on business leader who drives revenue growth by acting like a general manager while remaining grounded in rigorous analytical thinking. This role blends CPG brand management, retail/category analytics, innovation thinking, and instore execution. The position will use retail and shopper data to drive assortment, pricing, innovation pipeline, and shopper activation programs. It partners closely with Sales, Operations, Sourcing, Culinary, Marketing, and Finance to deliver growth with speed and clarity. The role solves critical commercial problems by leveraging data, influencing stakeholders, and bringing new products to life across our store footprint.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Understand, interpret and socialize weekly and monthly commercial performance
- Lead weekly business management rhythms
- Identify category trends, diagnose issues, and recommend actions across regions & store clusters
- Turn complex data into clear insights that guide decisions
- Lead assortment strategy—SKU productivity, rationalization, price-pack architecture
- Recommend item lineups and space choices based on category & assortment analytics
- Support Sales with category stories and fact-based selling materials-based -in
- Design, run, and report on pragmatic in-store tests to validate & scale commercial initiatives
- Build and maintain pricing guidelines by product and segment that support trial, repeat and trade-up
- Actively manage price bands and price-pack architecture
- Help design promo calendars and evaluate results of promotional events
- Balance volume, margin, and customer value in everyday pricing decisions
- Translate shopper and category insights into new product ideas, in partnership with Lead Chefs
- Support concept refinement, business casing, and initial forecasting
- Track product launch performance, recommend scale-up or course correction based on results
- Shape strategy for in-store activations & merchandising, in partnership with the Creative team
- Develop merchandising strategy guidelines
- Build creative briefs for signage, banners, or seasonal features
- Monitor asset performance & provide feedback for continuous improvement
