Support to Lead Electrical Engineer
- Provide daily technical support to the Lead Electrical Engineer across all electrical activities of the EPC scope.
- Perform first-pass review of EPC electrical deliverables before escalation to the Lead.
- Maintain discipline tracking sheets β cable register, MCC feeder lists, load list updates, TQ logs, and interface registers.
Review Support for EPC Electrical Deliverables
Assist with review and comment preparation for EPC submissions:
- Electrical Load List
- Cable Schedule & Cable Routing Layouts
- Electrical Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)
- Equipment datasheets (motors, heaters, UPS, panels)
- Power & control wiring diagrams
- Interconnection diagrams
- Earthing & bonding layouts
- MDB/SMDB/MCC feeder details
- Hazardous area electrical drawings
- Highlight deviations from ADNOC standards, mismatches in loads, incorrect equipment tagging, or cable sizing issues.
Electrical Package Engineering Support (Compressors / Dryers / Receivers)
- Review OEM electrical datasheets for motors, heaters, and control panels.
- Assist in checking motor power requirements, starting current, and overload protection.
- Validate OEM I/O lists, wiring diagrams, and terminal plans.
- Compare EPC versus Vendor electrical interface requirements.
- Assist in verification of MCC integration & panel-to-DCS signal routing.
Power System Study Support (Analysis Inputs & Validation)
(Not performing studies independently but providing inputs & reviewing outputs.)
Support the Lead in reviewing:
- Load Flow Study
- Short-Circuit Study
- Motor Starting Analysis
- Relay Coordination Study
- Arc Flash Assessment
- Earthing & Grounding Calculations

Tasks include:
- Preparing electrical interface registers
- Verifying signal/logic crossovers (DCS/ESD vs MCC)
- Supporting review of Cause & Effect relationships
- Ensuring cable routing does not conflict with I&C, telecom, or structural elements
Support for HSE / Process Safety Workshops
Assist Lead Electrical Engineer in:
- HAZID
- HAZOP
- ENVID
- SIL/LOPA
- SIMOPS discussion
Responsibilities:
- Extract electrical drawings for workshops
