The Sample Splitting Technician will be responsible for assisting the laboratory function by ensuring all samples are appropriately prepared and analysed in a timely manner while assisting with various other laboratory duties, to achieve operational, customer and quality requirements.
Key accountabilities will include but not limited to:
- Prepare samples for analysis by mixing, blending and weighing, in accordance with sample/analysis requirements and preparation methods.
- Perform routine analysis, validations and project work in an efficient and effective manner.
- Ensure external and internal clients’ requirements are met / exceeded.
- Ensure efficient utilisation of laboratory materials.
- Operate, calibrate and maintain equipment/instruments as required.
- Complete all quality control records in accordance with quality requirements and work instructions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of their work area and processes, aiming for better safety, quality, turn-around-time and efficiency.
- Ensure all mandatory training are completed (E-Learning and Safety Hub).
- Act in accordance with the Eurofins Code of Ethics, and all other relevant policies and procedures, as updated from time to time.
