Join Eurofins as a Sales & Marketing Manager and play a key role in driving sustainable growth and strengthening our IVD Molecular Diagnostics business in Italy.
What team will I be part of?
You will be part of the Sales, Marketing and Customer Support organization, reporting directly to the Managing Director. The role is based in Italy and involves regular national travel and occasional international travel, working closely with cross-functional teams across the Eurofins network.
As a Sales & Marketing Manager you will:
Sales & Commercial Strategy
Define and implement sales strategies aligned with company objectives and growth plans;
Lead and manage the sales team, including agents, to achieve commercial targets;
Develop and execute key account strategies for hospitals, public and private laboratories, and reference centers;
Oversee pricing strategies, tenders, contract definition, order negotiations, and order processing;
Monitor sales budgets, forecasts, and performance against objectives, implementing corrective actions where needed.
Marketing & Product Management
Develop and execute marketing plans for molecular diagnostic assays, instruments, and consumables;
Define product positioning, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies;
Coordinate product launches in collaboration with internal stakeholders;
Conduct market analysis, competitive intelligence, and gather customer feedback;
Supervise the creation of marketing and scientific communication materials.
Customer Support & Service Excellence
Oversee Customer Support Services, including technical support, application support, and service contracts;
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnerships;
Coordinate service activities such as installations, maintenance, training, and troubleshooting;
Define and monitor service KPIs, response times, and quality standards;
Collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain to ensure timely delivery of products and spare parts.
Business Development & Market Expansion
Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels;
Represent the company at industry events, congresses, and customer meetings.
Cross-functional Collaboration & Compliance
Work closely with internal functions to ensure compliance with IVD regulations (IVDR, ISO 13485, CE marking);
Provide structured commercial and customer feedback to support product improvement and innovation.
