Eurofins Biopharma Product Testing is looking for an Inside Sales Team Leader to join Medical Devices Business Unit in Planegg (Germany) or in Milan (Italy).
The Inside Sales Team Leader is responsible for leading and developing the Inside Sales team while ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of all quotations, pricelists, and test code updates across the MD division. This role guarantees that commercial information used in customer interactions is reliable, harmonized, and aligned with operational capabilities. By managing the quotation workflow, maintaining pricing structures, and coordinating test code updates, the Inside Sales Team Leader supports efficient sales execution and enables a seamless collaboration between Sales, Laboratories, Project Management, and Commercial Operations.
This person will be in charge of different responsibilities:
- Quotation Management & Governance: Lead the end-to-end quotation creation process for all MD sites; Review and approve quotations generated by Inside Sales Specialists; Ensure alignment of quotations with service capabilities, pricing guidelines, and margin expectations;
- Pricelist Ownership and Maintenance: Oversee (bi-) annual and ad-hoc updates of MD pricelists; Ensure consistent pricing across platforms and clients; Maintain version control and ensure timely communication of pricelist updates to relevant stakeholders, also coordinating with Sales, Laboratories, and Commercial Operations
- Team Leadership & Performance Management:Lead, coach, and support Inside Sales Specialists; Management of the workload distribution, quotation turnaround times, and adherence to service levels
- Test Code Oversight & Updates: creation, modification, and retirement of test codes, supporting clean integrations between pricing, quotation, and operational systems
- Cross-functional coordination: Work closely with Sales, Laboratories, Project Management, and Commercial Operations and coordinate implementation of new services, templates, pricing structures, and workflows
- Continuous Improvement & Special Tasks: Drive process optimization and harmonization across Inside Sales operations; Support digitalization and system enhancement initiatives related to quotation workflows
