The Laborer/Operators job is to obtain directives from Shift Supervisor to safely and proficiently operate various types of equipment including a front-end loader and tractor.
- Operate under direction of plant supervision
- To obtain directives from Shift Supervisor Safely and proficiently operate various types of equipment involving shifting gears. Ability to work of equipment as well doing general labor as needed. Minimum 2 years' experience with running loaders and tractor
- Follow lockout procedures
- Obtain, use and maintain PPE
- Make sure work area is safe and free of debris
- Ensure that all guards are in place in the immediate work area
- Work will be performed as per supervisor鈥檚 instructions
- Assist plant personnel when needed
- Immediately report any unsafe conditions, practices or accident, injury, near miss disputes or concerns and/or other circumstances
