Undertaking structural Modelling and Detailing on global projects
Working with the technical specialist on delivery of major projects using BIM/CAD software packages.
Reviewing the work of other CAD/BIM delivery teams
Act as a Lead Technician on medium and smaller projects.
Reporting to Team BIM Coordinator and BIM Manager
Clarify the scope of work from Project lead / BIM Coordinator & ensure timely delivery of assigned task.
Coordinate with other services and inform team for any major coordination issues.
Coordinate with respective discipline Engineers for Mark-ups and ensure mark-ups are received on time.
Ensure full compliance with WME CAD /BIM standard.
Self QA before Engineers for internal QA.
Interface with peers on resolving modelling issues
Run clash detection and prepare clash reports.
Make sure BIM model is coordinated within MEP services, Arch, facade, and other subs.
Allocate the jobs to modelers for the assigned project with the help of BIM coordinators by informing delivery requirements.
Attends inter discipline coordination meeting as when required.
Ability to supervise and manage small team of Technicians and Jr. Technicians.
