To support the ongoing development of our Intercity Service Line activities, we are recruiting a Bid Engineer to:
- take part in the development of the service lines products worldwide (rail, road & signaling)
- support development of local expertise and Key People
- support the production strategy, quality of delivery of major projects and staffing of project/design managers and experts
Reporting to the Technical Director of the Intercity Service Line, you will be part of the Global Support Team, whose main mission is to provide support across all Egis regions, particularly during tender and projects phases, or at the business development stage if needed.
In this context, you will be involved on the following topics, for tenders and projects, for various type of services, from upstream (feasibility studies) to downstream (detailed design):
- Project management/costing/commercial support
- Risk management/Mitigation support
- Technical Expertise/Peer Review/Audit coordination
- Staffing support
- Technical Coordination
During the tender phase, you will work in close collaboration with the Bid Manager of the Region concerned, as well as with all the technical, administrative and financial departments to federate their various contributions. You will participate in the management of bids in project mode, ensuring:
- that deadlines and objectives are met
- the clarity and competitiveness of the proposed solutions
- the participation in the analysis of the specifications and the definition of the means to be implemented to deliver a quality offer within the deadline set by the Customer.
- the coordination of the technical experts who will be involved in the production of the bid, and contribute to the drafting of the technical sections
- compliance with subsidiary and Group quality procedures. You may be required to deal with other companies in the context of partnerships or consortiums
You will also be mobilized to:
- promote Egis solutions in terms of innovation, eco-design and digital technology in tenders and projects
- support the development of technical expertise in the regions
- identify and manage feedback topics (technical, design or project management…) as part of our continuous improvement process
