Assist in producing engineering products for bridge rehabilitation and new design projects from concept through construction to meet customer quality requirements.
Conduct detailed structural design calculations and analysis.
Collaborate both independently and as part of a team to define problems, establish work scope, prepare budgets and schedules, plan the work, and provide technical support and oversight.
Prepare and review engineering models, drawings, specifications, quantities, cost estimates, and technical reports.
Contribute to the development and review of designs for new bridges and bridge rehabilitation.
Provide support in the evaluation, inspection, and rehabilitation of transportation structures.
Assist in reviewing cost estimates, specifications, and tender documents.
Coordinate and collaborate with other engineering disciplines and departments, including highway, foundation, environmental, drainage, and electrical.
Participate in project management duties, including assembling project teams, controlling budgets and schedules, ensuring quality control, and supporting client interactions.
Provide input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and less experienced Engineers.
Ensure compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.
