The Traffic Department Helper supports the daily operations of the traffic department by assisting in the coordination and monitoring of vehicle movements, loading and unloading of goods, documentation, and communication with drivers and internal teams. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods or traffic flow management, depending on the organization鈥檚 scope.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in scheduling and dispatching vehicles based on delivery and transport plans.
Coordinate with drivers to ensure adherence to routes and timelines.
Help prepare, review, and distribute transport-related documents (e.g., waybills, delivery notes, driver logs).
Support the loading and unloading of materials as needed.
Monitor traffic conditions and report any issues or delays to supervisors.
Communicate effectively with the warehouse, logistics, and customer service teams.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the transport area or traffic office.
Follow safety protocols and assist in enforcing traffic regulations within company premises or job sites.
Perform basic vehicle checks and report issues to the relevant department.
Provide general administrative support to the traffic department as assigned.
