The Senior Enterprise Architect defines, leads, and governs the overall architecture of the organization鈥檚 Information System.
They ensure strategic alignment between business objectives, processes, and technology, designing a consistent, scalable, and sustainable target architecture of the systems.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Architecture Governance & Strategy
- Define the enterprise architecture vision (business, data, applications, infrastructure).
- Ensure consistency and integration of the Information System.
- Build and maintain technology roadmaps and strategic capital improvement plans.
- Establish and enforce architecture frameworks
B. Analysis & System Modeling
- Map business processes, applications, data flows, and infrastructure components.
- Identify redundancies, obsolete systems, technical risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Propose target architectures (operating models, application landscapes, data models).
C. Leadership in Strategic Projects
- Support major transformation programs: digital transformation, cloud migration, Information System urbanization, cybersecurity initiatives.
- Define technical and functional standards across the enterprise.
- Validate the choices on technology, application, and infrastructure
- Ensure all projects comply with enterprise architecture guidelines.
D. Communication & Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as a key liaison between executives, departments, IT teams, data teams, cybersecurity, and external vendors.
- Prepare decision-making documents for senior management (ROI, risk assessments, architecture scenarios).
- Guide and coach teams to ensure a clear understanding of architectural decisions.
E. Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Conduct technology watch: Cloud, AI, Big Data, cybersecurity, IoT, automation.
- Identify innovation opportunities to enhance business efficiency and performance.
- Promote architectural best practices, standards, and methodologies.
3. Required Technical Skills
- Strong mastery of Enterprise Architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, ArchiMate).
- Expertise in application architectures (microservices, APIs, containers).
- Solid knowledge of data architecture: SQL/NoSQL, data governance, data modeling.
- Advanced understanding of cybersecurity, IAM, Zero Trust models.
- Familiarity with infrastructure fundamentals: networking, virtualization, storage, DevOps practices.
- Knowledge on Cloud Architectures
