We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our site-based construction management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of cost management and quantity surveying for large-scale projects in the region.
- Prepare and analyze bills of quantities, cost estimates, and tender documents for construction projects
- Conduct on-site measurements and valuations to track project progress and costs
- Manage contract administration, including change orders, variations, and claims
- Negotiate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure cost-effective solutions
- Provide expert advice on contractual and commercial matters to project stakeholders
- Prepare regular cost reports and forecasts for senior management
- Implement and maintain cost control systems to monitor project expenditures
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to optimize project delivery
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations in Dubai and the UAE
- Identify and mitigate potential cost risks throughout the project lifecycle
