The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our water distribution operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of water to various locations throughout the city.
- Operate light water tanker vehicles to transport and deliver water to designated locations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Follow established routes and schedules for water delivery
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance
- Operate water pumping equipment to fill and empty the tanker as required
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols while driving
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs promptly
- Assist in basic vehicle maintenance tasks as needed
