We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented HSE Officer (Roads O&M) to join our team in Lusail, Qatar. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance in our roads operations and maintenance projects. - Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HSE policies and procedures for roads operations and maintenance projects
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement effective corrective actions
- Lead investigations into incidents, accidents, and near-misses, preparing detailed reports and recommending preventive measures
- Provide thorough HSE training and guidance to employees, contractors, and visitors on site
- Monitor and ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations and standards, with a focus on Qatar-specific requirements
- Develop and maintain efficient environmental management systems to minimize the environmental impact of road maintenance activities
- Collaborate closely with project managers and supervisors to integrate HSE considerations into project planning and execution
- Prepare and present detailed HSE performance reports to management, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement
- Manage and maintain organized HSE documentation, including permits, certifications, and training records
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging HSE trends in roads operations and maintenance, implementing innovative solutions where appropriate
