The BIM Content Developer will support the entire multi-disciplinary design team for Aviation, Transit including rail, road, highways, Ports and Harbours projects focused on MEP content development. This role is responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining a high-quality, standardized library of BIM content including Revit and Civil 3D templates, shared parameters, adaptive parametric families, blocks, set up files, property sets, assemblies and sub-assemblies, object styles, catalogues and part lists to ensure efficient and consistent modeling across the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and maintain the project鈥檚 BIM content library- including but not limited to Revit templates, shared parameters, adaptive parametric families, attributes, catalogues and part lists鈥攁nd enforce consistent usage across teams.
- Define and document the BIM content development roadmap, including process workflows, issue tracking and resolution protocols, and request/fulfillment procedures.
- Provide regular progress updates and reporting to the management team on BIM content strategy and implementation.
- Offer technical support and training to design and modeling teams on BIM content standards, usage, and best practices.
- Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and refinement of BIM content to ensure alignment with project needs and platform updates.
- Develop discipline-specific BIM content in alignment with specifications, applicable codes and standards, and vendor-specific data requirements.
- Continuously advance the BIM content library as per AIR, EIR and BEP to support evolving project needs across design phases, construction, procurement, and operations.
- Optimize all BIM content for model performance, coordination efficiency, and compliance with industry and project standards.
- Collaborate with the Design and Engineering Program Lead to implement, monitor, and update the BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of models and drawings to ensure accurate usage of approved standard content and adherence to project requirements.
