We are seeking a Urban Planner to join our team in Amman. As part of the urban development department, you will support the design, analysis, and coordination of masterplans at multiple scales, contributing to innovative and sustainable urban planning initiatives.
- Support the development of urban planning and Master planning projects under the guidance of senior team members.
- Develop urban design concepts, comprehensive land use plans, zoning regulations, development parameters, and urban design guidelines
- Contribute to site analysis, demographic studies, and spatial assessments to inform planning proposals.
- Develop basic 3D massing models and spatial studies to test density, built form, and public realm strategies
- Prepare diagrams, layouts, presentations, and illustrative masterplan materials.
- Support coordination with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, landscape architects, engineers, and environmental specialists
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and submission packages for client and authority review
- Contribute to integrating sustainability, mobility, and smart city principles into planning proposals.
- Support the preparation of development control regulations (DCRs), plot guidelines, and planning documentation.
- Participate in stakeholder workshops and internal design reviews.
- Stay informed about emerging urban planning practices and local regulatory frameworks.
