Join our FaƧade & Sustainability team in Sydney as a Diagnostic and Remedial FaƧade Engineer. In this role, you will deliver remedial faƧade solutions that meet client requirements within agreed project timeframes and budget. To achieve this outcome, this role is required to apply sound understanding of remedial engineering principles to plan and contribute to projects of a reasonably complex nature.
You will also be responsible for:
- Undertake on-site faƧade/building diagnostic investigations (including water penetration investigations, failure of faƧade elements and concrete testing and analysis)
- Prepare remedial work specifications for concrete repairs, waterproofing, protective coatings, brickwork repairs and heritage restoration
- Provide technical assistance to new build faƧade contractors relating to the weatherproofing and installation of various faƧade systems
- Ensuring engineering activities are performed in accordance with the project requirements to a high technical standard within allocated time and budget
- Prepare tender documentation, design documentation/specifications and project deliverables to meet client requirements for projects of reasonable complexity
