About The Role
The Intermediate Electrical Designer is responsible for supporting the design and development of electrical systems for a range of projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role involves preparing design drawings, specifications, and documentation, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical solutions into overall project designs.
The Intermediate Electrical Designer works under the guidance of senior designers and engineers, assisting with design reviews and contributing to the accuracy and quality of deliverables. The position also participates in project meetings, communicates effectively with team members, and helps address design challenges.
Additional responsibilities include adhering to departmental design standards, processes, and templates, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The Intermediate Electrical Designer ensures that all designs meet client requirements, project objectives, and applicable codes, while delivering reliable electrical solutions.
Job Description
Prepare and revise electrical drawings and design packages for small to large-scale projects under the guidance of Electrical engineers.
Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure drawings are accurate, complete, and aligned with project requirements.
Support electrical engineers with equipment selection, layout development, and electrical design documentation.
Assist in the preparation of specifications, schedules, and technical documentation for electrical and control systems.
Participate in project and coordination meetings, providing drafting and design input as required.
Contribute to the improvement of drafting standards, templates, and drawing quality within the Electrical team.
Experience in REVIT and Infrastructure Projects (Airports, Traffic Signals, or Highway lighting) will be considered essential
