2026 Internship - Quality Assurance Engineer (Hoosier Racing Tire)

THE POSITION

Hoosier Racing Tire in Plymouth, IN, is seeking a Quality Engineer Intern to join our team. The Quality Engineer Intern will support the integration and improvement of our Quality Management System while assisting with machine capability studies, structured work instructions, and problem-solving initiatives. This role focuses on investigating recurring issues, contributing to special projects, and supporting Continental business teams through strong analytical skills and quality-driven approaches.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Align and integrate QMS (Quality Management System) documentation with Continental standards and technical compliance requirements.
• Conduct machine capability studies for both component and final finish processes.
• Develop clear, structured work instructions that support quality and operational consistency.
• Assist with special projects and provide support to business teams as needed.
• Investigate recurring issues using structured problem-solving methods, including root cause analysis and A3 techniques.
