- Lead product-specific ramp-up and change projects for new products, materials, equipment, and relocated processes.
- Maintain and update production specifications, parameters, and documentation in line with standards.
- Create and revise production flow charts, control plans, and work instructions in collaboration with Quality and based on central R&D/Application Engineering guidelines.
- Conduct product-specific testing, ensure run@rate, and manage start-up and handover to series production.
- Update process FMEAs according to local conditions and standards.
- Support customer release processes (PPAP), including initial sample reporting.
- Identify and implement product and material optimization opportunities in alignment with central product development.
- Address and resolve quality issues, including customer complaints and internal rejects, in partnership with Quality.
- Drive process optimization to improve quality, efficiency, and capability (e.g., extrusion speed, vulcanization, cutting).
- Develop and maintain production cost calculations using lean principles.
- Define job instruction sheets and standard times through time studies.
- Ensure local implementation of central industrialization standards.
Provide feedback for continuous improvement of industrialization standards, documentation, and IT tools (e.g., FMEA software).
