Our Hoosier location in Lakeville, IN is seeking a dedicated Track Service Tire Technician with a Class A CDL (Commercial Driver's License) to join our team. This role is crucial for providing high-quality tire service and support at various racing events. The role demands flexibility, a strong focus on customer service, and a passion for the motorsports industry.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Services at Racing Events and Tire Tests:
- Mounting, dismounting, & balancing, and other tire service operations.
- Perform tasks in support of tire tests.
- Service area set-up and tear-down.
- Provide technical support.
- Quality assurance.
Transportation and Logistics:
- Safely transport tires and related equipment to and from racing events using company vehicles.
- Load and unload tires and equipment, ensuring secure and efficient handling.
- Comply with all transportation legal requirements.
Maintenance and Safety:
- Perform regular maintenance checks on equipment.
- Routine equipment maintenance and repair
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, on the road and at racing events.
Customer Service and Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the track service team to provide seamless support during events.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with racing teams and event organizers.
- Offer exceptional customer service, addressing any queries or concerns promptly.
Administrative Duties:
- Manage inventory of tires and supplies
- Assist in preparing reports and documentation related to track services.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Shop Duties:
- Pre and post event prep work
- Miscellaneous shop duties
- Contribute across various departments during off-season: key areas of engagement - warehouse operations, transportation/distribution, manufacturing plant assistance.

THE ENVIRONMENT
