THE POSITION
Our Hoosier Racing Tire headquarters in Plymouth, IN is seeking a Maintenance Apprentice – 2nd Shift to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment within the plant to ensure optimal operational performance.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Troubleshoot & Repair: Maintain and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systems.
- Machining & Welding: Perform precision machining and welding for equipment maintenance.
- System Diagnostics: Use schematics, gauges, and tools to identify and resolve issues.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow LOTO procedures, PPE requirements, and company safety policies.
- Collaboration & Support: Work closely with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Organization & Availability: Maintain a clean workspace and be available for overtime or vacancy coverage as needed.
