Senior Care Assistant

What you’ll do

As a Senior Care Assistant, each day brings purpose, leadership, and the opportunity to make life-changing differences.

You will:

• Lead and support care staff to ensure consistently high-quality care delivery

• Act as a role model, offering guidance, coaching, and on-shift supervision

• Support residents to remain independent within their Extra Care apartments

• Provide companionship, reassurance, and build meaningful relationships

• Assist with medication management, mobility, and mealtime support

• Deliver personal care with dignity, respect, and sensitivity

• Respond promptly to care calls and emergency alarms within the scheme

• Support the coordination of care plans and daily task allocation

• Encourage resident engagement in social activities and community life

• Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and the on-site management team
