The New York City Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) invests in a network of community-based organizations and programs to alleviate the effects of poverty and to provide opportunities for New Yorkers and communities to flourish. The Department of Youth and Community Development鈥檚 Comprehensive Afterschool System of NYC (COMPASS) formerly known as the Out-of-School Time Program is comprised of over 800 programs serving young people enrolled in grades K-12.
