In order to be considered for this position, the candidate must be serving permanently in the title of Traffic Device Maintainer or must be reachable on the Open Competitive Exam #3063 for Traffic Device Maintainer or be eligible under the 55a program.
The Signals Timing and Intersection Control Unit鈥檚 Count Shop seeks to hire an Traffic Device Maintainer who will be responsible for preparing, installing, maintaining, and repairing traffic control devices such as signs, stanchions, supports, parking meters, pavement markers, and traffic counters. The successful candidate will also operate, maintain, and make minor adjustments to motor vehicles, marking machines, air compressors, pavement breakers, snow plows, and other field and shop equipment.
