The Manager Auditor Level I position will be responsible for reconciliation of payroll reports for all civilian NYPD employees, processing one-time payments, one-time deductions, retro pay/leave triggers, and approval of payroll transactions. The Management Auditor will review pending annual payments of uniform allowances for all eligible civilian titles and resolve payroll discrepancies and communicate resolutions with different commands. In addition to, the Management Auditor will assist with audit of payroll transactions on 160/161 “Pending Pay Detail Report” and review biweekly paychecks to avoid underpayments or overpayments, generating supplemental paychecks as required. Finally, the Management Auditor will also be tasked with assisting in audits of sick/workers compensation grants payments for civilian members of service and will respond to all payroll inquiries.
