The MEP Project Manager is responsible for overseeing various and numerous mechanical, electrical, & plumbing capital projects within the Design & Construction department. The ideal candidate will be jointly responsible for managing all aspects of the specific project type at-hand and will require strong project management skills and technical expertise in the various MEP Systems throughout our portfolio. The individual is responsible for ensuring projects are completed on-time and within budgetary constraints.
• Develops comprehensive project specific plans including scope of work, budget, and schedule.
• Coordinate with on-site property representatives, architects, engineers and/or subcontractors to manage project related matters and technical issues to mitigate risks.
• Assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure deliverables are met timely and on budget.
• Maintain accurate documentation and report appropriately to leadership.
• Ensure scope of work is completed in accordance with Federal, State and local agencies.
• Conducts field inspections, review contractor invoicing and maintain project cost control.
• Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses.
• Manage change orders, RFIs and other project specific documentation.
• Ability to travel as necessary for project related needs, this is expected to be frequent.
