The successful candidate will provide friendly, courteous and efficient guest service and ensure a prompt response to all guestsâ needs. You will also provide cashiering, slot machine services, transaction verification, assistance and oversight to Slot Service Specialists.
- Adhere to all department and property policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Must maintain the strictest confidence of any and all confidential information disclosed by an Ameristar entity.
- Coach, monitor, and develop team members for improved performance
- Issuing timely performance evaluations on subordinates while offering developmental guidelines and resources to achieve goals
- Through teamwork with other Slot Supervisors and the Slot Service Specialists, ensure great guest service and prompt response to guestsâ needs at all times
- Assure that the slot machines are operating properly and that all jackpot payoffs are executed in a timely manner according to company policy
- Verify, process, and authorize jackpot payouts
- Support and assist Slot Service Specialists and other Slot Supervisors on the Casino Floor
- General monitoring of job performance of Slot Service Specialists
- Consistently monitor and manage the departmentsâ labor and payroll standards.
- Assist Guests with general questions concerning the Casino
- Respond to change lights on slot machines and assist customers needing change or other assistance
- Other various duties as assigned by the Casino Operations Assistant Shift Manager
