The cage cashier executes all monetary transactions for guests and is assigned to a window bank. The cage cashier must provide excellent guest service at all times.
- Greet customers and give friendly, accurate and efficient service.
- Exchange coin and gaming chips for currency, cash, checks, issue window markers, redeem slot tickets and safe deposit boxes, enter marker, fill and credit slips.
- Communicate by telephone for customer service and pit information.
- Stand for eight hours with stooping and bending.
- Operate a computer, knowledge of software programs utilized by department, to input, update, and access customer credit and other information.
- Complete transactions and documentation in accordance with gaming regulation requirements and company policies and procedures.
- Must be thoroughly trained in Title 31.
- Operate ten-key adding machine, to balance window and sell checks, etc.
- Operate a jet sort (a coin counter for cashing out coin) and currency counter.
- Maintain bank balance. Keep work area clean and supplies stocked.
