Due to a strong growth trajectory ahead for our Queensland Construction business, we are seeking a Workforce Training Coordinator to develop, implement, coordinate, and monitor programs and initiatives to ensure workforce training and participation targets, commitments, obligations, and outcomes are achieved.
- Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and relevant external industry groups to drive workforce training and participation outcomes.
- Deliver presentations, facilitate meetings, and engage with various working groups to achieve desired workforce training and participation outcomes.
- Develop project-based programs and initiatives to increase participation and retention rates of apprentices and trainees and increase the uptake of construction workers completing education and training.
- Provide Queensland Government training policy support to project teams.
- Establish initiatives to strengthen the pipeline of marginalised candidates obtaining opportunities for employment and retention within the construction sector.
