Why This Role Matters
This role is critical to the success of BESIX鈥檚 marine and land projects. Accurate survey data forms the foundation for safe, compliant, and efficient project execution. High鈥憅uality land and hydrographic surveys minimize errors, ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, and enable informed engineering and construction decisions. Whether supporting dredging, marine works, or major infrastructure developments, precise survey information ensures projects are planned and delivered with confidence, accuracy, and operational excellence.
What You Will Drive
- Conduct land or marine surveys to establish accurate positions, distances, elevations, and boundaries.
- Operate advanced surveying equipment, including total stations, GNSS/GPS systems, echo sounders, and multibeam survey systems.
- Collect and process hydrographic and terrestrial data for construction, dredging, infrastructure, and environmental projects.
- Prepare, review, and maintain survey drawings, charts, maps, and detailed technical reports.
- Analyse survey data using CAD, GIS, and specialized surveying and hydrographic software.
- Establish, verify, and maintain survey control points, benchmarks, and reference systems.
- Ensure all survey activities comply with regulatory, legal, and safety standards.
- Coordinate effectively with engineers, project managers, contractors, and clients to support project requirements.
