What You'll Drive
Tender Document Review & Coordination
Review and analyze all tender documents, including drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements, to ensure full understanding and compliance.
Verify the completeness of received documents, prepare a comprehensive document index, and raise queries for any missing information in coordination with the Estimator.
Identify discrepancies, scope gaps, and uncertainties, consulting with the Estimator to ensure clarity and alignment.
Maintain a strong working knowledge of overall project specifications and requirements.
Quantity Take-Off & BoQ Preparation
Prepare Bills of Quantities (BoQ), where required, and submit for Estimator review and validation.
Perform accurate quantity take-offs based on tender drawings, 3D models, and the applicable contract type (remeasured, lump sum, EPC, etc.).
Coordinate with draftspersons to produce marked-up drawings to support detailed quantity take-offs.
Provide reliable quantity data to materials engineers and submission engineers throughout the tender process.
Post-Tender Support & Contract Verification
Follow up on post-tender queries, clarifications, and correspondence, providing necessary inputs to the Estimator.
Review contract documents upon project award to ensure alignment with tender-stage submissions and related communications.
Support Estimators in preparing for project award kick-off meetings.
Assist in addressing quantity-related queries raised by the project site team.
Documentation & Knowledge Management
Organize and upload quantity take-off workbooks, cost sheets, and comparison sheets into the designated system to ensure proper documentation, traceability, and knowledge retention.
