Serve as a Senior Electrical Technician within the Fast Response Crew, ensuring rapid response to electrical emergencies in accordance with tier-based SLA timeframes.
Perform immediate electrical isolation using LOTO procedures to secure site safety and prevent electrical hazards.
Conduct rapid electrical fault assessments using multimeters, insulation testers, and thermal imaging cameras.
Establish electrical safety zones and implement electrical permit-to-work procedures.
Carry out comprehensive electrical inspections using specialized diagnostic equipment (insulation resistance testing, earth/ground continuity testing, motor current analysis).
Perform circuit breaker testing, protection relay testing, and electrical system load analysis.
Identify root causes of electrical failures, including motor failures, cable faults, control system malfunctions, and protection device issues.
Document electrical investigation findings with detailed diagrams, test results, and technical reports.
Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant codes, standards, and facility requirements.
Obtain necessary electrical permits and NOCs for electrical work.
Oversee the installation and replacement of motors (LV/MV), motor starters, VFDs, and soft starters.
Supervise cable termination, testing, installation of cable tray systems and conduit works, switchgear installation, panel wiring, and control system integration.
Coordinate electrical instrumentation activities, including sensor installation and calibration.
