Avery Dennison is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious MBA Intern to join our Indirect Procurement team. This is a unique, high-impact role designed for a future leader with a proven track record of strategic thinking and hands-on execution. As a strategic procurement intern you will assume responsibility for a portfolio of either Professional Services or Freight spend, driving value and identifying strategic opportunities in a fast-paced environment. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Strategic Category Management: Take ownership of one or more categories such as Professional Services, Freight or other categories, engaging with key business stakeholders to understand their needs and analyze current spend patterns.
- High-Impact Project Leadership: Identify, scope, and lead 1-2 strategic projects focused on optimizing spend, generating measurable cost savings, or improving efficiency.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectives and support on ad hoc business requests towards Procurement.
- Sourcing & Supplier Management: Lead RFX/tenders, negotiate contracts, and provide hands-on support for strategic projects as well as urgent supplier-related issues and ad-hoc requests.
- Process Improvement & Innovation: Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes, leveraging data and strategic insights to enhance the team鈥檚 capabilities.
- Leadership Development: Actively participate in team meetings and initiatives, demonstrating a proactive, positive attitude and a hunger to grow in the organisation.
The preferred start date is February 2nd, 2026. The ideal candidate is available 4-5 days a week for 5-6 months. The location of the position is our European Headquarters in Oegstgeest. The internship can be done remotely for up to 3 days per week.
