Position Overview
We are hiring for the position of Project Manager- Airport Landside Facilities & Infra shall for multiple upcoming projects across Pan India. The Project Manager – Airport Landside Facilities & Infrastructure shall be responsible for planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of landside infrastructure projects at Airports Authority of India (AAI) airports. The scope includes terminal forecourts, approach roads, car parks, utility corridors, boundary walls, drainage systems, and allied landside infrastructure. The role ensures projects are delivered in accordance with AAI specifications, DGCA/MoCA guidelines, statutory regulations, and within live airport operational environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Overall responsibility for management and execution of landside infrastructure projects as per AAI contract conditions, technical specifications, and approved drawings.
• Planning, scheduling, and monitoring of works related to terminal forecourts, access roads, parking facilities, boundary walls, security infrastructure, drainage, and utility networks.
• Coordination with AAI Engineering (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical), Operations, Commercial, Safety, Security (BCAS), and external utility agencies.
• Ensure compliance with AAI Engineering Manuals, CPWD specifications, National Building Code (NBC), MoRTH specifications (where applicable), and local statutory requirements.
• Review and approval of DPRs, design submissions, drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications prepared by consultants/contractors.
• Monitor project progress, quality, cost control, and timelines using AAI-approved reporting and MIS systems.
• Ensure implementation of Safety Management System (SMS), traffic management plans, and HSE practices in landside and public interface areas.
• Manage contract administration including variations, extensions of time, claims, and dispute resolution in accordance with AAI GCC and GFR provisions.
• Interface with local authorities for approvals related to utilities, roads, drainage, and environmental compliance.
• Prepare and submit periodic progress reports, review notes, and presentations to AAI Regional and Corporate Headquarters.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, handover, and close-out of completed landside infrastructure including as-built drawings and asset documentation.
