AECOM are currently seeking a Technical Associate Director to join our Strategy+ team.
AECOM Advisory combines the strategic rigour of management consulting with deep infrastructure expertise to help clients build resilient, inclusive and future ready organisations. We are looking for an experienced business consultant who can work with complex organisational challenges to plan, lead and deliver solutions that achieve strategy led change and transformation outcomes.
Strategy+, which forms part of our Advisory business, operates at the intersection of Business Transformation, Human Dynamics and Place Strategies.
Other practice areas within our Advisory business includes Asset, Project Monitoring, P3 Technical, Risk Management, Program, Procurement and Construction Business Intelligence services, allowing the successful candidate an opportunity to collaborate across our Advisory team and advise our clients on a wide range of projects across built asset and infrastructure sectors.
The Position
We are looking for highly motivated applicants to be involved in the delivery of a key regional project. Working closely with our Strategy+, this individual will be responsible for the following:
- Management of aspects of a large key regional enterprise transformation project encompassing multiple client partners.
- Excellence in client relationship management. Including the demonstrated ability to guide, lead, communicate and create consensus across a diverse variety of client based and internal stakeholders.
- Excellence in the collaborative development and delivery of multidisciplinary based enterprise solutions.
- Awareness of all Strategy+ and Advisory service offerings and ability to communicate their value
Desirable Expertise
Candidates will be expected to possess deep expertise in more than one of the following areas:
- Business strategy, business analytics and economics
- Operations and process planning
- Technology systems development and integration
- Real estate strategy, facilities management, capital planning
- Program management
- Communication strategy, branding, marketing, user experience
- Creating and delivering change management strategies, human resources and organizational development plans
- Expertise in user research, design management
Technical Skills
Candidates will be expected to possess skills in one or more of the following:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign)
- Proficiency in Excel, Tableau, Power BI data manipulation and analytics
- Web based data analytics, visualization and presentation software
- Project management, project work planning, scheduling and resource deployment
- Revit, GIS and/or other space planning / design systems

Outline of Duties
The successful candidate will be involved in the delivery of a key regional project.
Working closely with our other Strategy+ project team leaders, this individual will be responsible for the following:
- Business strategy, governance, capability mapping and operating model design
- Building trusted relationships within complex, multi-partner and hierarchical stakeholder environments
- Designing, delivering and tracking behavioural change and transformation initiatives
- Communicating clearly and confidently, both in person, in virtual meetings, and through written briefings and presentations
