Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a Technical Director – Structural Engineering to join our Melbourne team in a key strategic leadership position. This role will lead the successful delivery of multi-disciplinary projects across a variety of sectors, driving technical excellence, innovation, and collaboration. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the structural business, fostering strong client relationships, and empowering a high-performing team to deliver outstanding outcomes for our clients.

- Lead the execution of the sector-specific strategy, driving profitable growth through pursuit leadership, client engagement and market differentiation across multi-disciplinary projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry partners and stakeholders, promoting AECOM’s capability and technical excellence across the market.
- Provide project and people leadership, direction and support to the team through effective recruitment, mentoring, succession planning and a focus on wellbeing, inclusion and professional development.
- Ensure delivery excellence and governance across all projects, maintaining AECOM’s high standards of quality, safety, digital innovation and client satisfaction.
- Champion collaboration and operational efficiency by leveraging enterprise workshare, implementing change initiatives, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
