The Role
Types of projects: Retail & Logistics
As Project Manager, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, on budget, and in line with client quality and operational requirements. You will be activating in an environment with international exposure, working closely with the Construction Manager, client teams, designers, and contractors, you will provide leadership and clear communication to keep projects progressing smoothly.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and coordinate the delivery of retail and logistics construction projects.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reporting.
- Work closely with the Construction Manager to plan, sequence, and monitor site activities.
- Maintain open communication with client teams and internal stakeholders.
- Lead project meetings, including design reviews, cost reviews, start-up briefings, progress meetings, and closeouts.
- Ensure all works meet required safety, quality, and operational standards.
- Manage contractor performance against scope, cost, schedule, and HSSE expectations.
- Identify and manage risks with appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Promote and uphold AECOM’s HSSE and ethical standards across all sites.
You’ll Also Be Involved In
- Reviewing design and cost information to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Supporting tender and procurement processes as needed.
- Monitoring progress across active work sites and reporting to client and internal leadership.
- Coordinating with the wider delivery team to align design, construction, and operational requirements.
- Driving efficiency, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across projects.
