Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor with 8–10 years of professional experience in the aviation sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in cost estimation, quantity verification, and contract management for airside and landside works.
This role requires expertise in preparing and managing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost monitoring, and contractor evaluations, ensuring compliance with airport authority standards and delivering cost-effective solutions for phased airport development projects.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare and verify Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for airside and landside works, including runways, taxiways, aprons, utilities, buildings, and supporting infrastructure.
- Develop and review BOQs, cost estimates, rate analyses, and tender documentation aligned with airport authority standards.
- Evaluate contractor bids, conduct cost comparisons, and support negotiation processes.
- Prepare contract award recommendations based on thorough analysis and cost evaluations.
- Monitor project costs during design and construction phases, track variations/claims, and prepare cost reports, cash-flow forecasts, and change management documentation.
- Ensure accurate tracking of project expenses and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to validate design quantities, resolve scope gaps, and ensure accurate cost planning for phased airport development.
- Provide technical inputs to ensure alignment between design and cost planning.
- Review contractor invoices, certify payments, and assess claims with proper documentation.
- Support dispute resolution processes by providing accurate and detailed records.
