This is a Sr. Manager, Collaboration Services role with responsibility and accountability for the Collaboration services provided in AECOM as part of the digital transformation efforts and implementing multiple IT project initiatives.
The primary role is to serve as a solutions expert; to analyze and solve collaboration problems, validate and implement cost-effective solutions, and provide support for the efficient daily operations.
This position will offer flexibility for hybrid work schedules to include both in-office presence and telecommute/virtual work, to be based in either Dallas or Houston, TX.
Job Functions
- Technical lead in complex global collaboration projects. Ensure solution is consistent with AECOM standards
- Collaboration technologies today include Email (M365), Conferencing (M365), Data sharing (M365), Video Conferencing (Cisco and Microsoft), Voice/Telecommunication (Cisco and Microsoft), AV (multiple) and other collaboration solutions for remote work flexibility
- Work closely with AECOM’s outsource partner(s) and PMO teams to ensure execution of the projects is going to plan
- Analyze business challenges and recommend practical technical solutions that meet objectives of time and budget
- Collaborate with other team members in the Infrastructure team to develop long term enterprise infrastructure strategy
- Work closely with our Digital, Business and Corporate team(s) to ensure Collaboration solutions are developed for the different use cases and regional needs
- Work closely with the Business Relationship Managers (BRMs) to ensure solutions are meeting business objectives and to resolve any day-to-day operational issues
- Assist the business leadership to manage Executive townhalls, Earnings and Investor calls
- Collaborate with AECOM’s outsource partner to identify solutions for any long standing collaboration and infrastructure “problems”
- Work closely with Corporate Communications to assist with User communications and change management
- Manage issues, risks, and changes using appropriate and agreed upon processes and tools established within the AECOM PMO.
- Communicate status on projects and issues to AECOM leadership as established.
