The Manager, Building Information Modelling (MEPF) will oversee the development, implementation, and management of BIM processes and tools for MEPF systems across projects. This role requires expertise in BIM technology, coordination of interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring adherence to project standards and timelines. The Manager will act as a key liaison between design, engineering, and construction teams to optimize workflows and deliver high-quality, coordinated MEPF models.
Key Responsibilities
BIM Management & Implementation
- Lead the development and execution of BIM strategies for MEPF systems.
- Establish and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and workflows in alignment with project requirements.
- Manage BIM tools and software, ensuring compatibility and efficiency.
Project Coordination
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of MEPF systems within the overall project model.
- Facilitate interdisciplinary coordination and clash detection to resolve design conflicts.
- Monitor and ensure the accuracy of MEPF models throughout the project lifecycle.
Team Leadership
- Supervise and mentor BIM coordinators and technicians working on MEPF models.
- Provide training and support to project teams on BIM tools and processes.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in BIM practices.
Quality Assurance
- Conduct regular audits of BIM models to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain the integrity of MEPF data and documentation.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the primary point of contact for BIM-related queries and updates for MEPF systems.
- Present BIM deliverables and progress reports to clients and stakeholders.
- Address client concerns and incorporate feedback into BIM workflows.
Technology & Innovation
- Stay updated on emerging BIM technologies and trends, particularly for MEPF systems.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools and methodologies to enhance project efficiency and outcomes.
