Responsible for providing architectural guidance, calculations, analysis, studies and recommendations for a Healthcare Architectural within the schedules and budget of an assigned project.
May manage various size groups of architects, designers, and/or specialists.
Lead the medical planning effort on large, complex healthcare projects.
Develop and document comprehensive space programs, functional relationships (bubble/block diagrams), and departmental adjacencies.
Lead user group meetings, clinical interviews, and visioning sessions to capture detailed operational needs and workflows.
Generate and evaluate multiple planning concepts, guiding clients through feasibility and option analysis.
Author key sections of project deliverables, including the Functional & Space Program (FSP) and Equipment Planning narratives.
Ensure all plans comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Integrate technology infrastructure (IT, medical equipment, telemedicine) seamlessly into planning concepts.
Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, and Interior Designers to ensure design integrity from schematic design through construction documents.
Mentor and direct intermediate and junior medical planners, providing guidance and fostering professional growth./LP
