AECOM is currently seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Transportation team in the Savannah, GA area. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support a variety of civil engineering projects associated with the Georgia Ports Authority.
- Develops and strengthens analytical and engineering design skills through active participation in project assignments and technical tasks
- Performs engineering design activities under the guidance and supervision of an experienced engineer, ensuring adherence to applicable standards and project requirements
- Prepares detailed designs, calculations, technical reports, sketches, diagrams, schematic layouts, and final construction documents in support of project deliverables
- Assists with the collection, compilation, and analysis of engineering data to support project planning, design development, and technical decision-making.
- Utilizes industry-standard engineering software and tools to perform calculations, modeling, drafting, and problem-solving for routine engineering challenges
- Coordinates assigned tasks to ensure work is completed in accordance with established project budgets, schedules, and quality standards under supervision
