AECOM is seeking an experienced On-site Construction Inspector to perform construction quality assurance services and support projects with the US Army Corps of Engineers on the EAA Reservoir Project in Wellington, FL. This is an onsite, full-time position working 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspection of Contractor’s Work. Provide inspection of work in place, and review of the construction contractor’s submittals, to provide an opinion or recommendation to the appropriate Government employee(s) as to whether work is in full compliance with the contract plans and specifications and will be included in the Daily Report of surveillance activities.
- Inspection of Contractor’s On-Site Work, Materials, and Equipment > Provide inspection of the contractor’s on-site storage yards and temporary facilities, materials and equipment, to provide an opinion or recommendation to the appropriate Government employee(s) as to whether they are in full compliance with contract plans, specifications, EM 385-1-1 and OSHA requirements.
- Site Progress Tracking: Review project schedule, check field progress against the contractor schedule and report to client any delays from the approved baseline. Provide site progress on schedule activities to PM, Project Controls Manager, and Scheduler for updates.
- Technical expertise to perform payment inspections and validation of progress against AF IMT 3065 forms.
- Attend preparatory meetings and participate in all three phases: Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-up of the 3-Phase inspection system required under the contract.
