AECOM is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented BIM/CAD Modeler to join our Enterprise Capabilities Design Center in Bogotá D.C. This role is pivotal in supporting the development and delivery of design documentation from our design center in Colombia. The selected candidate will contribute to a variety of projects, including railways, airports, large surface buildings, data centers, and industrial estates. The focus will be on creating high-quality drawings and 3D models using Revit (Plumbing modules) . This position encompasses the entire project lifecycle, from preliminary design through detailed design and construction documentation, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and project requirements.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing and developing drawings and models using Revit for infrastructure projects.
- Modeling pressurized piping systems, and fire protections systems.
- Generating detailed construction drawings and graphic outputs for hydraulic and fire protections systems.
- Supporting the implementation of BIM/CIIM standards and best practices for modeling.
- Conducting clash detection and management to ensure model coordination.
- Developing drawing packages in compliance with engineering standards, local regulations, and internal quality protocols.
- Supporting the preparation of technical documentation, including design reports, quantity takeoffs, and construction estimates.
- Ensuring deliverable quality through internal reviews and adherence to project schedules.
- Working closely with engineers and specialists across all project phases to ensure seamless integration of design elements.
