AECOM's Water group is searching for an Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls Programmer – EIT of Electrical, Instrumentation and Control for a large capital project of a highly integrated Industrial Control Systems (ICS) in the water and wastewater treatment industry. Experience in the application and startup of industrial process controls is required.
In this role you will:
- Design and specification development for controls and instrumentation systems with focus on SCADA & PLC systems.
- Design and specification of instrumentation and process control devices for various processes including water/wastewater treatment and other light industrial applications.
- Develop and implement industrial control systems configurations, graphics, databases and other connected systems.
- Participate in the implementation of advanced software applications and automatic control strategies.
- Design and specifications development for electrical distribution systems, MCC design, and motor schematic.
- Prepare engineering documents, load list, cable schedule and equipment list.
- Participate in simulations, testing and commissioning of process control applications.
- Participate in troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
- Assist in the team achieving engineering deliverables (e.g., drawings and specifications) comply with applicable regulations, standards, corporate procedures and sound engineering practices.
