Senior Engineer - Transmission & Distribution (Primary)

AECOM Enterprise Capabilities is seeking a talented Senior Engineer - Transmission & Distribution (Primary) who will be responsible for the delivery of primary design engineering for High Voltage Substation projects, ensuring timely and high-quality production of engineering deliverables related to primary circuits.

The role focuses on execution of project design packages, technical accuracy, and the guidance/coordination of CAD designers/drafters supporting the development of drawings and models. The position requires strong hands-on experience in substation primary engineering and project delivery within transmission and distribution environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver complete primary circuit engineering packages for HV Substation projects in accordance with project scope, schedule, and quality requirements.
• Develop and produce primary substation design deliverables including: Single Line Diagrams (SLD), Substation layouts and equipment arrangement, Busbar and conductor design, Electrical clearances and safety procedures in a substation, Earthing and lightning protection and lighting calculations of a substation.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, client standards, and international standards (IEC / IEEE / AS).
• Prepare and maintain high-quality engineering documentation and design reports.
