Wireless Intern

AECOM is seeking a Wireless Intern to be based in Hunt Valley, MD.

As a Wireless Intern, you will support AECOM’s Technology Solutions Wireless Team by assisting with a variety of wireless-related tasks within the Technology Solutions Group. This internship provides hands-on experience in wireless network planning, system integration, and infrastructure optimization enabling you to contribute to projects that enhance connectivity and communication.

This is a part-time or full-time intern position. Hours are flexible based on student availability. This is a position working primarily from the Hunt Valley, MD office and local client locations within the DMV area.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Assist in the design and deployment of wireless communication systems, including 4G/5G networks, private LTE/NR, WiFi, LMR systems, and Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS).
• Support network planning and optimization for smart cities, campuses, and buildings.
• Conduct research on emerging wireless technologies and trends to inform project solutions.
• Participate in project coordination meetings and provide support for program management tasks.
