AECOM’s Water Business Line is seeking a talented Senior Electrical, Instrumentation & Control Engineer to join our growing team in British Columbia. In this role, you will contribute to the design and delivery of critical water and wastewater infrastructure projects across the Lower Mainland. Working alongside multidisciplinary experts, you will apply your technical expertise in electrical systems, instrumentation, and controls to help develop reliable, innovative solutions that support resilient communities.
The responsibilities of this position include:
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers-in-training and designers.
- Deliver EI&C engineering for municipal infrastructure projects across Western Canada, including Metro Vancouver.
- Develop control narratives, philosophies, and contract specifications.
- Design and specify process instrumentation and control systems for water/wastewater treatment and industrial applications.
- Support development and review of P&IDs, SCADA, telecommunications, CCTV, and security networks.
- Collaborate with project managers, process engineers, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate project deliverables.
- Prepare construction cost estimates and technical effort estimates.
- Support project management, contract administration, and field reviews during construction.
- Contribute to project budgets, schedules, and technical planning.
- Ensure all deliverables meet AECOM QA/QC standards and client requirements.
