About You
We are looking for a Learning and Development Specialist to design, implement, and continuously improve learning and development initiatives for our operational teams. This role will focus on technical upskilling, AI tools adoption, and career growth, ensuring our collaborators have the skills required to perform, evolve, and grow within the organization.
This position plays a key role in aligning learning strategies with business needs, technological trends, and defined career paths.
You Bring to Applaudo the following competencies:
- 3+ years of experience in Training, Learning & Development, Enablement, or similar roles, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of technical roles and skills (software engineering, IT, data, QA, cloud, etc.).
- Hands-on experience implementing or managing learning programs related to technology or AI tools.
- Experience designing career paths, upskilling, and reskilling programs.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and structured learning experiences.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, working with technical and non-technical teams.
- High level of organization, ownership, and follow-through.
You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:
- Design and execute training programs focused on: technical skills (software development, data, QA, cloud, etc., depending on team needs).
- AI tools and emerging technologies applicable to daily operational work.
- Productivity, best practices, and continuous improvement.
- Identify skill gaps across operational teams and translate them into structured learning plans.
- Create and maintain career development paths in collaboration with leaders and subject matter experts.
- Coordinate internal and external training sessions, workshops, certifications, and learning resources.
- Work closely with technical leaders to ensure trainings are relevant, practical, and up to date.
- Measure training effectiveness through KPIs (adoption, performance impact, feedback, completion rates).
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and self-development.
- Maintain documentation of training programs, learning materials, and internal knowledge bases.
- Stay current on technology trends, AI tools, and learning methodologies relevant to the tech industry.
